Liz Bradbury Trains Allentown Human Relations Commission
On February 5, 2026, the Allentown Human Relations Commission (HRC) convened at Allentown City Hall for a focused training session led by Liz Bradbury, Executive Director of Keystone Equality and a statewide expert on civil rights enforcement. The training centered on the Commission’s responsibilities under Allentown’s antidiscrimination ordinance and the handling of discrimination complaints.

We at Keystone Equality mourn the loss of Renee Good on Wednesday, January 7th and send our condolences to her friends, family, and immediate community. Community, however, transcends boundaries dividing states and counties. Renee Good was one of our own, a woman fighting against tyranny, and we condemn her needless death.
As authoritarianism rises, we must stand visibly against ICE whose abuse of power extends far past the death of Renee Good. Now more than ever, it’s crucial we do our part in protecting vulnerable members of our community, whether through protesting, mourning, or direct mutual aid.

PRISM LGBTQ+ Community Center will host “Your LGBTQ+ Legal Rights in Pennsylvania,” an informative presentation on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 7 p.m. led by Liz Bradbury, a LGBTQ+ civil rights leader and the primary architect of the state’s most progressive countywide non-discrimination ordinance.
The presentation will be held at 414 High St. inside Mission First Church

Delaware County passes landmark antidiscrimination ordinance, advancing local civil rights protections. The passage of Delaware County’s ordinance reflects a broader statewide movement that Keystone Equality has been instrumental in shaping. As one of Pennsylvania’s leading LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations, Keystone Equality has long supported municipalities and counties in drafting, refining, and advancing nondiscrimination ordinances. Governor Shapiro Signs CROWN Act into Law
Governor Shapiro signed HB 439 into law, expanding the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act to protect natural hair textures and styles tied to racial and cultural identity.
The new law strengthens civil rights protections, affirms the dignity of all Pennsylvanians, and advances real freedom and expands opportunity by ensuring every person can work and thrive without bias based on their hair.
Lehigh County passes New non-discrimination law
After a three-year effort that included members of the Lehigh County Human Relations Committee and spearheaded by Keystone Equality President, Liz Bradbury, the Lehigh County Board of Commissioners passed the most inclusive non-discrimination ordinance in Pennsylvania. It now goes to Lehigh County Executive Phillips Armstrong for signature.

LGBTQ community leaders from throughout Pennsylvania are proud to announce the formation of Keystone Equality today. Recognizing the urgent need for statewide LGBTQ political mobilization, the nonpartisan organization was incorporated in November 2022, met in December to adopt its bylaws, and elected its officers in January 2023.
