“The Eastern PA Trans Equity Project is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering transgender Pennsylvanians located in Eastern Pennsylvania. We offer transgender legal name change services, support groups, finanincial aid services, and other programming

Our transgender service programs are available to residents of forty-two (42) Pennsylvania counties. These include Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, Montgomery, Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Franklin, Lancaster, Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wayne, Pike, Carbon, Columbia, Schuylkill, Bradford, Wyoming, Montour, Northumberland, Lebanon, Sullivan, Tioga, Susquehanna, Lycoming, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Perry, Snyder, Union, York, Centre, Mifflin, Blair, Huntington, Bedford, Fulton, Clinton, and Potter County in Pennsylvania. Some counties have limited services available so please verify for the program you are interested in.

  • PA Legal Name change Documents.- Each county has a different process, please follow this link and find your county to move forward in the process of becoming YOU.

  • Name Change for your Child

  • Updating Identification- This link will help you to understand the process of updating the gender markers on legal ID – including Driver’s License/State ID, Birth Certificate, Social Security, and Passport is separate from the legal name change process.

Philadelphia Fight: Community Health Centers

“Philadelphia FIGHT Community Health Centers provide culturally competent comprehensive primary care, and state of the art HIV primary care to low income members of the community, along with research, consumer education, advocacy, social services and outreach to people living with HIV and those who are at high risk, including family members, communities with high rates of HIV, formerly incarcerated persons, and young people at risk; and access to the most advanced clinical research in HIV treatment and prevention.”

Community Health Centers

“All FIGHT programs and services are offered regardless of gender, race, color, sex, religious beliefs, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or insurance status. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. FIGHT offers a discounted Sliding Fee Schedule based on Percentage of Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG) determined by family size and income, an annual Cap on Charges for Ryan White eligible patients, and assistance for patients who are uninsured or under insured to obtain health insurance and other benefits.”

A team specialized in trauma-informed approach to dental Care and welcomes patients with dental anxiety or a history of infrequent dental visits.

primary medical care to adults 18 and older.

Patient-centered, primary medical care for people living with HIV.

High quality, accessible, primary care to Philadelphia children and youth from birth to the age 18.

Inclusive and accessible health care for all youth (13-24). Includes primary care, mental health care, sexual and reproductive health care and PrEP.

Community Services and Support

Institute for Community Justice- Prison services and reentry programs providing health linkages, supportive Services, education, and advocacy for individuals, families, and communities impacted by mass incarceration.

Trans Youth Resilience Fund- Direct financial assistance program that puts money into the hands of young trans and non-binary individuals to support their health, safety, and wellness.

BenePhilly- Free one-on-one enrollment support to help Philadelphia residents apply for over 20 public benefits.

  • YOUr Haven Shelter- Emergency and short term housing for trans and non binary folx, 18-30 years old. Call 412-346-1324 to schedule an interview with our case management team

  • QMNTY Center Event Space

  • YOUth Drop In- Community TLGBQIA+ youth 21 and under may drop in Monday - Friday from noon to 6 pm.

  • QMNTY Drop in- Adult Community focused space from 6 pm-10 pm Monday through Friday.

  • Project Silk- HIV/STI testing and community groups

Every tuesday , Weds & thursday from 12:20 - 6:30 testing is available for HIV & other STI's on a walk in basis.
